“Bottles Three” (8″ x 8″ watercolor on paper). This is the worst watercolor paper that I’ve ever used. Bought it as a tablet, 140 lb by Master’s Touch. Awful! Watercolor soaks through the paper and washes will not glide across paper. Try making a gradation on this paper–ick! One gets what one pays for. (This is a made up still life–not meant to be accurate.)
“Time in a Bottle” (always loved that song). This is something a little different for me but enjoyed creating it (Daily Something #39 for 2016).
“Heart & Release” is #19 of my 2016 “Daily Something” series. It is 4″ x 7″and although small, took several hours to complete (mixed media: ink, India ink, & acrylic on Rives BFK). This series always begins with some sort of mark-making and leads eventually to a non-predetermined place.
“Defined by Gray” is #13 of my Daily Something drawings (ink drawing; digital color).
“To Be a Red Fish” is a small ink drawing, a “Daily Something” (#11).
