Looking Closely is a graphite drawing that started with a photo reference (my own) and ended with many imagined areas, shapes, and woven vines. This drawing is created on Rives BFK print paper, 22″ x 30″. Looking Closely was shown at the Norton Art Gallery, Shreveport, Louisiana. It will be shown at the National Association of Women Artist’s 129th Annual Members’ Exhibition, October 6 – 18, 2018, South Gallery, New York.

A work-in-progress (graphite). This is still a long way from completion. Sometimes it helps to view the image on the computer.
This little guy was at the shelter, and the rejection and sadness on his face moved me (graphite drawing). Hope he found a good home.
Escape Route No. 99 is a graphite drawing on Rives BFk (14 x 22). It’s a work-in-progress…almost finished but needs a few more tweaks here and there.
