“Louisiana Sky” (mixed media: collage, watercolor, clear epoxy)
The little horse painting was done several years ago. The collage pieces are from a large painting that didn’t work. I used attached the collage pieces to a cradled wooden panel (my newest interest) and sealed it with an epoxy. This little 8″ x 8″ piece will be available at NLAC’s Blend on the Bayou silent auction, May 7th.
“Trees of Many Colors” is created on an 8″ x 8″ wooden cradled panel. It started as an entirely different image that I painted and mounted to the panel. Not liking it, I ripped the image off of the panel, but I couldn’t get all of the paper off of it.
What’s left was collage, so I drew on it, painted watercolor on it, and used watersoluble crayons on it. Available for $200; contact me: email@example.com
“Horse Dancing in the Moonlight” (10″ x 10″) is winging its way to Blazing New Trails: Women and Discovery, an exhibition by the N.A.W.A. Florida Chapter. The exhibition is October 31 – November 29, 2016 at the Marco Island Center for the Arts. “Horse Dancing” is a mixed media piece mounted on a wooden cradle: watercolor, watercolor pencils, collage.

A collage of various horse images that I’ve done. Some were in oil, some in watercolor, some in acrylic.
