Unraveled is a watercolor painting, an abstracted drawing with various scenes woven together. It was juried into the NAWA and NAWA-FL exhibition “Daydreaming” presented at the Coral Springs Museum of Art, Coral Springs, FL, September 22 – November 17, 2018.
“Magic Dancing” (watercolor on 6″ x 6″ watercolor paper).
This one also started out as non-objective but evolved into a figurative drawing.
“Night Mares” (watercolor on board, 4″ x 4″). This tiny piece started as a large yellow bird, drawn in watercolor. While almost napping, I had an image pop into my head, so I jumped up to draw the image in ink across the first image…horses with birds in flight appeared. This is still a work-in-progress. Need to let it dry well between watercolor applications.
“The Sybils Await” (watercolor on paper). This piece is winging its way to Ev(e)olution VII – ONWARD!, a juried NAWA members’ exhibition. Riverside Branch of the New York Public Library. New York. March 1 – 31, 2017.
